Kerteminde East

Kerteminde Harbour.

Kerteminde Harbour and Marina is a gem on Funen with good facilities as well as a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The harbour promenade has tables and benches as well as cosy barbecue areas where yachtsmen can enjoy the warm evenings while their children have fun at the playgrounds.
Various events are held at the Marina during the summer.
North and south of Kerteminde Marina are some of the best and most child-friendly beaches in Denmark, and the waters at and around Kerteminde are great for all kinds of water-based activities.

The town of Kerteminde has beautiful buildings and idyllic streets with the houses lined side by side and with a thriving commercial life with many speciality shops in the high street and the adjoining streets. They include wine, clothes, delicacies, art and cosy eateries, as well as large and small galleries and museums, where the Johannes Larsen Museum is undoubtedly the flagship of the town.
In the town, you can also visit the Cold War Bunker, the Farvergården museum, Høkeren (the Pedlar’s Shop), the Fjord & Bælt marine education centre, Kerteminde Minigolf (miniature golf) or the Great Northern, which offers golf and spa facilities.
Just outside Kerteminde is Ladby Viking Museum, located on the site where a Viking chieftain was laid to rest with his ship around the year 980.

If you want to enjoy breathtaking natural surroundings, you can head for the beautiful Lundsgård woods, take the Romsøbåden ferry service to the beautiful island of Romsø in the Great Belt or visit Sybergland for great walks and pleasant moments, with the possibility of overnight accommodation in shelters.
