Welcome to the ninth experience in the Kerteminde area during the golf days. In Munkebo, culture, history and nature come together for a memorable weekend of open-air opera and Viking heritage.
Discover Munkebo, where experiences unfold like shots along a fairway and every stop offers something new. Move from one highlight to the next – from an open-air opera concert on the hill on Friday to Viking Day on Saturday – surrounded all the way by beautiful scenery, history and a welcoming community atmosphere.

The Royal Danish Opera at Munkebo Bakke
Friday 14 August, 6–7.30 pm
Enjoy an open-air summer concert by the Royal Danish Opera at Munkebo Bakke. Bring a blanket or a chair, find your spot and let the music fill the landscape.
Admission is free and everyone is welcome.
Viking Day at Kertinge Nor
Saturday 15 August, 11 am–4 pm
The area around Kertinge Nor comes alive with Viking Day. Experience the Ladby Dragon, a replica of a historic Viking ship from the local area, try canoeing, rowing or a horse-drawn carriage ride, and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the Viking Age.
The area remains open throughout the event, allowing visitors to come and go freely. Visitor parking will be available nearby and may be subject to a parking fee.
