Welcome to Tee Spot 3 – Kerteminde’s very own “Costa del Kerteminde” beach spot during the Danish Golf Championship 2026! Here, you’ll arrive at one of Kerteminde’s beautiful beaches, Nordstranden, located within a short walking distance from both the town center and the marina. The beach is filled with evening activities in and around the sand. There’s something for everyone – whether you’re into vibrant Latin rhythms, laid-back tunes, great food and relaxation with a sea view, or friendly competitions with clubs and golf balls.

Program

On all days during the Danish Golf Championship, you can enjoy a gourmet meal at Restaurant Kalle at Hotel Kerteminde Strand, grab freshly made takeaway, or treat yourself to an ice cream at Nordstrandens Ishus and Kerteminde Minigolf. You can also swing a mini golf club yourself on the artificial turf courses with a sea view.

Time and info to follow: Live music at Hotel Kerteminde Strand

5:00 PM – 9:30 PM: Picnic and Latin in the sand

Stop by with a blanket, food, and a picnic basket with wine. Or grab some delicious takeaway from one of the town’s cozy cafés and settle into the sand from around 5 PM. Enjoy Latin music under the open sky, a great atmosphere, and maybe even a dip in the Great Belt before the dancing begins.

6:00 PM – 8:00 PM: Mayor Battle and Danish Minigolf Championship

Mayors and politicians from the municipalities of Kerteminde, Nyborg and Nordfyn, along with former players from the Danish national mini golf team, compete for the trophy at Kerteminde Minigolf. The courses are located on Nordstranden right by the start of the marina. Come cheer for your favorite in the race for gold – and see who gets stuck in the “Valley of Death.” Expect competitive spirit, great vibes, and lots of fun.

6:30 PM – 9:30 PM: Salsa in the sand

Come dance Cuban salsa with Waterdrops at Nordstranden in Kerteminde, as Odense Salsa Association hosts lessons in the sand under the open sky. Group dancing starts at 6:30 PM with an intro for everyone – no experience or dance partner needed. No registration required.
